Literature Text

Another day
In our daily lives,
As day by day
By day goes by

I hope that I'll see you
But that hope has diminished,
Dinner's already done
And dessert's just been finished

"Where have you gone?" I think to ask
But I know the answer,
I know your past,
Your present and future
Are all alike,
You've hidden away
From everyone's sight

Another day
I've now awakened
Clinging once more to the hope
That you've not forsaken
Your brother, your mother,
your home sweet home
you've confined yourself to solitude
but you'll never be alone

So I'll let these days and days go by
I'll let your return take me by surprise,
And upon your return, when you leave those confines
I'll show you the Earth, the Moon, and the sky
A poem I whipped up while brainstorming for another story.

My first poem, so idk what I was doing, but whatev.
